![]() ![]() To become a Chief Lector, a magician needs to be able to speak a good number of Divine Words. ![]() To use them, no papyrus or other equipment, such as amulets, potions, shabti and statues are needed. Magicians speak them to create or tweak reality. They are called 'divine' because they enable the magicians using the commands to wield godly strength and powers. These are also called hieroglyphic spells or Words of Power. In Egyptian mythology, as seen in The Kane Chronicles, divine words is another term for Egyptian Magic commands.
